The CatAID - Catalan Foundation of Humanitarian Aid has been created and promoted by a group of sensitive persons in the area of the humanitarian aid and the cooperation for the development.

In spite of the scientific and technical progress, the modern society has not been capable of finding a sociopolitical organization that saves an important part of the hunger from the humanity, nor a society where everybody can live worthily has been achieved.

For that reason, the performances of the Foundation go addressed specifically to these persons, who see its more basic rights harmed, and who suffer exclusion or poverty from structural causes, wars, or natural disasters, with the spirit of contributing to the improvement of her living conditions.
